I just started evaluating indefero and noticed that on my system I 
did not get the change log texts from the SCM systems (Mercurial and 
SVN) in the right encoding.
I figured out that popen/shell_exec on my system executed the scm 
commands in the wrong encoding.
I attached a patch to enforce UTF-8 encoding when interfacing with 
the scm.
