Issue 348: No notification about your own actions

Reported by Jakub Vitak, Nov 20, 2009

I think is nonsense to mail user about some event
if source of the action is user by himself

or could have option to enable/disable

Comment 1 by Raphaël Emourgeon, Nov 21, 2009

I vote for this one !

Comment 2 by Loïc d'Anterroches, Nov 26, 2009

Can you tell me in which case you get notifications for your own
actions? I tried not to notify in that case, so this is a bug.
Summary: No notification about your own actions

Comment 3 by Raphaël Emourgeon, Nov 26, 2009

Updating my own ticket send me an email notification.

Comment 4 by Raphaël Emourgeon, Nov 26, 2009

(and I just received a notification for my last comment here !)

Comment 5 by Jakub Vitak, Nov 26, 2009

when you trace some issue and sending comments - like Raphael
comment above

or when I am set as target in admin area
to be noticed about issues/wiki/source updates

Comment 6 by Loïc d'Anterroches, Nov 27, 2009

Effectively, the rework of the notification system introduced this
bug.

Jakub, if you put your email as target in the admin area, you will
always be noticed as the purpose is to always notice on this target
email.

So the 2nd situation isn't bug but feature :D

But I still think is it same nonsense as in 1st situation.
Maybe could solve this some checkbox in admin area to notify
including own actions.

But it is only my own point of view. :)
